- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I live in the local area but had never visited Marinelli Jewelers until recently. My mom is a Pandora fanatic so I stopped in to get her some Mother's Day beads. The salesperson was very helpful and then asked if I was interested in anything for myself. I had mentioned I was looking for a nice watch but didn't have a big budget. They showed me a couple of really cool Derek Jeter Movado watches. Was a little more then I wanted to spend but it is a great piece. So I walked out with something for my mom and myself. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This review is to alert customers that they may not be getting the best service/price.My experiences were far from acceptable. I was told by the son that it was $30.00 to pierce one ear and $50.00 to pierce both ears. I only wanted one ear pierced. When I went back to have my ear pierced by the owner Rich, he charged me $50.00 for the one ear to be pierced. Then I went back to purchase a 1+ carat diamond to make a pair of earrings and wanted to use his advertised coupon of 20% off any jewelry purchase and he would not honor his own ad. Then I had a ring repaired and my repair ticket stated the value of the repair was $0.00 and he charged me $38.00. Then he offered to buy back my gold. I took it somewhere else and got double what he offered. Trust me the customers future is NOT paved with gold, Marinelli's future is paved with gold.By C Senese, June 29, 2017
